I began boxing at the age of 12, under the tutelage of my father Vic. An ex-fighter himself, Vic was the long time coach at Scottsdale Park on Chicago's Southwest side.
Upon graduating from college, I competed for several years, participating in over 40 AMATEUR BOUTS.
After my competitive days ended, I stayed in shape by training in various gyms throughout the city, LEARNING NEW BOXING TECHNIQUES AND PHILOSOPHIES from the best Chicago has to offer, most notably the Matador's O' Shea brothers.
I gathered this wealth of boxing knowledge and began training people in the mid-90's, and on a full time basis in 2003.
I am quite confident that the 500+ CLIENTS I HAVE TRAINED will vouch for my credentials. I'm sure you will too.
I fought FUTURE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OLIVER McCALL for the Open Division Championship. Surviving a first round knockdown, I put on a furious rally, but it was too little too late!
